Holton Ranked Players Produce District Win
The Holton Wildcats have three running backs who are all worthy of college offer consideration. The three senior ball carriers amassed 338 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-21 win over Sabetha on September 25.
Here is a scouting report on the three Wildcat backs.
<strong>Offensive Three Stars</strong>
<strong>RB, [player_tooltip player_id="35496" first="Canon" last="Karn"], 6’0”, 205, (’21 Ranked No. 209) </strong>– Karn rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns. He hits the hole quickly and breaks a lot of tackles. He now unofficially has 501 yards rushing and six touchdowns. He also contributed four tackles on defense.
<strong>RB, [player_tooltip player_id="35502" first="Konner" last="Tannahill"], 5’11”, 195, (Ranked No. 224)</strong> – Tannahill plays fullback in the Wildcat offense He rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns. He is a bruiser and could add bodyweight and strength. He now has four rushing touchdowns on the season.
<strong>RB, Addison Hundley, 5’10”, 205 </strong>– Hundley arguably might be the fastest of three backs. He gets to the edge better than the other two Holton backs. He rushed for 114 yards and a scored on a 25-yard scamper. Hundley also could be the best impact player on the defense of the three. He had four tackles, a pass break-up, and two quarterback rushes.
All three of the Wildcat seniors are looking for their first official college offers. The best way for that to happen is for Holton to keep rolling up the yards on offense and to make a deep playoff run.
Two offensive linemen on the team for scouts and recruits to watch film on are seniors<strong> Jordan Huntington</strong> and <strong>Carter Watkins</strong>.
