The Class of 2023 had many players breakout during their first season. There will be plenty more during their sophomore seasons in 2020. Here are some under-the-radar names to keep an eye on.
Frankie Garbolin | North Brunswick
North Brunswick won nine games last season and that success should continue with their sophomore quarterback. Garbolin is the ultimate dark-horse player to breakout in his second season. He will be a big part of what North Brunswick does on the offensive end.
Sean Hall | Sussex Tech
Hall was a contributor in many ways for Sussex Tech. He showed great speed at the linebacker position along with strong hands. He is a player that is able to rush the passer or drop back in coverage. His versatility is a main reason why he will be on the field for Sussex Tech as a sophomore.

Brearley is getting their leading rusher back from last season in Dan Ramos, but that does not mean that Sims will not have a big year. He will see a bigger workload in his second season after getting his feet wet as a freshman. He will be a strong option off the bench for Brearley in 2020.
Isa McMillan | South River
McMillan will be in for a bigger workload in his second season with the loss of Cincere McCrary. He will be in a loaded backfield along with Austin Soares that will carry South River. McMillan is a reliable back with the ball in his hands and has a great burst.
