From the Pensacola area to Miami-Dade, Tallahassee, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Orlando and southwest Florida, we have helped to uncover some gems that you will be hearing plenty about this coming season.
Today, we give you five Class of 2022 junior players from Broward County.
This is an area that was home to a pair of state champions in 2019, and it promises to be just as exciting this coming season.
Blesd Davis, RB, Fort Lauderdale. If you want to watch head coach Richard Dunbar smile, mention this young man to him. Here is someone who represents what the Flying Ls are trying to accomplish – by producing top-flight student/athletes with plenty of athletic ability who gets it done on and off the playing field. This is running back who has quickness, tremendous vision and is picking up new things to help his game all of the time. Solid young man all the way around.

Jullian Lewis, WR/FS, Davie Western. Certainly one of those way below the radar athletes who makes his way from Stranahan out to play for head coach Adam Ratkevich and the talented Wildcats. Many who have watched this gifted prospect perform believe that he has a chance to be one of the best this year – and into his senior season. Very talented pass catcher who has speed and enormous athletic potential. Many are anxious to watch what he brings to the table this season.

Navar Maine, QB, Fort Lauderdale Dillard. Here is one of those emerging standouts who has a chance to be very special this coming season – with an offensive-oriented head coach and plenty of talent around him. Has a strong arm to go along with mobility and is picking up those leadership qualities all the time.

Tiwan McCloud, OLB, Hallandale. Coming over from nearby South Broward where he was amazing as a play-making linebacker and a running back who got those tough yards. Impressive football player who will turn heads this coming season, and over the next two seasons. Talk to the coaches and all will tell you that this is truly an under the radar football talent just waiting for his chance.

Mason Taylor, TE/WR, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. Another son of Hall of Famer Jason Taylor, here is a quality football talent that has it all. Size, athletic ability and the talent to play receiver or tight end. He has outstanding hands – while also showing that he can block, and that is something if you play for this program that you will be called upon to do. With two years left, it will be fun watching this growing young man continue to mature.
