It was a big week across the state for commitments, so here’s a look at a few standout prospects who have made their college decision.
Gunner Stockton Gunner Stockton 6'1" | 220 lbs | QB Rabun County | 2022 State GA – Quarterback – Rabun County – Class of 2022 – Committed to South Carolina
The 6-foot-1 200-pound 5-star prospect from northeast Georgia is one of the top quarterback prospects in the entire country. As a sophomore last season, Stockton threw for 3,473 yards and 43 touchdowns. As a dual-threat quarterback, Stockton can also beat defenses with his legs, rushing for 1,126 yards and 19 touchdowns. So far in his career, Stockton has thrown for close to 3,400 yards and 77 touchdowns while rushing for over 1,800 yards and 36 touchdowns. With two seasons left in his high school career, the future Gamecock has a chance to shatter the Georgia career passing title. He has elite arm strength, playmaking ability, and overall mechanics. He has great footwork, pocket presence, accuracy, and ability to make plays as a runner.
Logan Johnson Logan Johnson 5'6" | 155 lbs | WR Prince Avenue Christian School | 2021 GA – Wide Receiver – Prince Avenue Christian – Class of 2021 – Committed to Troy
One of the biggest sleeper prospects in peach state has finally found his home at the next level. He’s not the biggest guy at 5-foot-6 150-pounds, but he’s coming off an impressive junior season where he caught 62 passes for 1,621 yards and 18 touchdowns. He’s so shifty, he changes directions well, and he has reliable hands. He’s an absolute weapon in the slot who knows how to get open quickly. He is one of the hardest working players in the state, and while his size has limited his recruitment, he is a great example of hard working paying off in the end. Look for Johnson to surprise people and have a nice, solid career at Troy at the next level.
Jalil Muhammad – Offensive Line – Creekside – Class of 2021 – Committed to FIU
One of the top offensive line prospects in Atlanta is heading down to Miami. The Creekside Seminoles are always pumping out talent, and Muhammad is one of the best lineman to come out of there in some time. At 6-foot-3 280-pounds, Muhammad is an impact run blocker with great strength and mobility. He moves well for his size and does a nice job of getting to the second level. He has some versatility to his game and plays some defensive line for the Seminoles as well. If he continues to develop, he has the frame to add more muscle and make an early impact at the next level.
Josh Graham – Defensive Back – Norcross -Class of 2021 – Committed to Morgan State
He may not play D1, but the impressive 5-foot-8 175-pound defender will play football in college at Morgan State. He’s another prospect on the smaller end, so none of the big schools came calling, but Graham is a versatile defender who started multiple years at a great Norcross program. He’s great in coverage, he’s physical, and he shows great ball skills. He does a good job of covering in the back end, and he knows how to help against the run. Overall, this is an absolute steal for Morgan State.
