Most high-powered offenses have a talented receiver on their roster. The best offenses have two. In this new series, we’re taking a look at the top duos in the state, starting with the receiver position.

Metcalf and Jeffcoat lead a loaded receiver group at Mallard Creek, a school that actually has four receivers in our top 200. The two are excellent complements to each other with Metcalf the speedy deep threat and Jeffcoat -- at 6’3, 210 -- the tall possession receiver. Both are excellent after the catch and should be one of the top duos in the state.

Baldwin (An NC State commit) and Stroman (Uncommitted) form one of the most feared receiver duos in the state. Both players have excellent ball skills and route-running abilities, making Richmond one of the best passing attacks in the state (It doesn’t hurt that they have one of the state’s top quarterbacks as well). Now seniors, the pair will look to lead the Raiders to a state championship in 2020.

Either way, expect another big year from the Greyhound offense.
