He will be joined in the backfield by running backs [player_tooltip player_id="29537" first="Donovan" last="Edwards"] (2021), [player_tooltip player_id="30133" first="Dillon" last="Tatum"] (2022) and [player_tooltip player_id="29750" first="Mekhi" last="Elam"] (2021) while sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="30318" first="Amir" last="Herring"] and junior [player_tooltip player_id="30221" first="DeAntwan" last="Franklin"] will be tasked with keeping them all protected. Junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="30135" first="Michael" last="Williams"] is the center piece on defense and 2021 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="29622" first="Chris" last="Johnson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="30028" first="Jaden" last="Green"] round out the front seven.
