FCS 2021 TEs to Watch

As we continue our dive into the 2021 FCS level of players in the state, PA has a pretty nice crop of TEs to check out. Here are the three worth taking a look immediately.
[player_tooltip player_id="27274" first="Matt" last="Carlino"] - The Haverford School - 6’5 - 225: he has great frame and size in general, and can continue to add weight. Definitely an in-line TE that is an above average blocker and strikes very well. For his size, he has above average athleticism and can make plays in the passing game. Will be a guy that comes into a program and will be able to make a difference in your offense for multiple years.
[player_tooltip player_id="27306" first="Ben" last="Knapp"] - Canton High - 6’5 - 230: Another prospect with great size and movement skills. Has a good catch radius, and can track balls. He has decent speed and quickness. The concerning thing about him is his level of competition but as of now, he shows the ability to block and the ability to make plays for an offense. With his size, he will be a great tight end at the next level but it may take an adjustment period.
[player_tooltip player_id="27340" first="TJ" last="Wagner"] - Nativity BVM - 6’6 - 200: Tall and laky, not really an in-line tight end but he has a huge frame and a lot of upside. He runs very well for his size, he is almost a really big WR. Catches the ball okay. Another concern here is the level of competition but once again, you can’t teach his size and movement skills. He also shows the ability to get physical. This is a great project TE that needs a redshirt year but can contribute. He looks like he doesn’t receive the best coaching right now, as he gets older and grows, he could be a steal for a team willing to take a chance.
