Beaver Falls is usually an area in Western PA known for producing quality college football players. The next two season, it is well worth stopping by to see some talent at all different levels. The Tigers should be poised to make some post-season runs the next two season with a solid core of these players.
(2021) [player_tooltip player_id="27202" first="Josh" last="Hough"] – 6’1 – 240 – RB – P5: Big athletic kid with great hands. Great speed for how big he is. Good in pass pro. Never really see him run blocking. Got some wiggle to him, could play many different positions but he is set to go to Syracuse as a Running back.
(2021) [player_tooltip player_id="27369" first="Tyler" last="Jones"] – 5’9 – 185 – SAF – D2: Small stature but he is a playmaker. Great speed, good twitch, and he will come down and hit. Very physical in the run game. Just okay ball skills, but good when he gets the ball in his hands. Good hips, able to run with all WRs, just a risk with a smaller safety
(2021) [player_tooltip player_id="27445" first="Chase" last="Thorton"] – 6’4 – 210 – QB – D2/D3: Big tough kid that throws well down field. Not as athletic as you would want, kind of slow footed and has a slow release. Great ball placement on routes, throws people open. Ball speed is below average. Solid prospect that is capable of making big time throws and staying on his feet in the pocket.
(2022) Tyler Cain – 6’2 – 210 – LB – FBS: Shows great burst and acceleration. Good form tackler and doesn’t miss many tackles. At the very worst he is a big and tough inside backer that stuffs the run quickly but I think he has the movement skills to continue to develop and play on the outside and cause problems. Read and reacts quickly. Shows ability to take on and get off of blocks, definitely has above average strength.
(2022) [player_tooltip player_id="27695" first="Jabarhi" last="Cleckley"] – 6’3 – 210 – QB – D2: Big and thick QB, pretty mobil as well. Would be able to run QB Power and all things that come off of it. Good arm and footwork, shows poise in the pocket. Good release, pretty fast mechanics. Consistency is the key for him, could move up this list a lot with an improved Jr season from the pocket
(2022) [player_tooltip player_id="27697" first="Anthony" last="Cousar"] – 6’3 – 205 – OL – D2: Will definitely add some weight. Played in some key moments but didn’t start. Will be full time starter this year. Pull and collision is great. Movement in general is great. Hs long arms. Needs to add major weight but if/when he does he will shoot up this list. Good feet and finds guys to block and move.
