Western PA is loaded in the trenches for the 2021, and that does for the Division 2 level as well. 3 Defensive Line prospects that can play an abundance of positions could work very well together. Prep Redzone will take a look at all three.
[player_tooltip player_id="27440" first="Jaden" last="Nichols"] - 6’1 - 210: Small but twitchy DE. Explosive get off and beats his man to get to the QB. Physical kid. Gets over powered at times. Needs to develop more strength to get better. Good first step, shows ability to get off block but needs to get better at that too. High upside. Maybe 3-4 OLB
[player_tooltip player_id="27441" first="Josh" last="Miller"] - Seneca Valley - 6’1 - 215: Could be a boundary end or a defensive tackle. Tough kid that has good explosion on contact. Not super twitchy but plays with his hands well to get off blocks and make a tackle. Does the small things correct, just a solid player. Would probably be an interior linemen at the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="27450" first="Luke" last="Wagner"] - McGuffey - 6’3 - 210: Great frame. Has great arm length, good athleticism. Best football is ahead of him. Needs to get in a weight program, not afraid of contact. Nice project for a defensive line coach. Not super twitchy, but does show ability to bend and get down the line
