Welcome to part five of our series highlighting top talent in the Class of 2021 – who do not have many – if any offers – yet. These are all guys we feel will – especially with big senior seasons – have offers down the road. Right now, they are just under the radar.
Today we finish our look at offensive players with five quarterbacks. With the passing game becoming more and more popular, and with offenses getting more complicated, quarterback has become even more of an important position to an offense. Here are five guys who can really spin the rock and are set up for big senior seasons.

Lockhart throws a great deep ball. He has a strong arm and can get the ball downfield off his back foot. He is mostly a pocket passer, but he can throw on the move. Lockhart can get the ball deep all over the field - the middle of the field and the boundaries. I personally watched him throw well – and throw deep - in bad weather.
[player_tooltip player_id="18210" first="Benjamin" last="Alsleben"] Litchfield
Alsleben is a true dual-threat quarterback. When he can set his feet, he throws an excellent long ball. On the move, he is especially efficient under twenty yards. When he is in the open field, he has the moves of a running back. The junior has the arm strength to throw a deep out off his back foot if needed. Most of the time he lines up in shotgun but is also comfortable under center. He is adept at gathering himself to set his feet when throwing on the move.
[player_tooltip player_id="18193" first="Cooper" last="Yaggie"] Breckenridge
Yaggie has good arm strength and can push the ball downfield even when his legs are taken away from him. But, the first thing I noticed was the touch and accuracy he puts on his deep throws. He can play under center and in shotgun. He can move around in the pocket and throw on the run but will tuck it and run if need be. A two-way player, he also starts at safety.
[player_tooltip player_id="18173" first="Branden" last="Berwald"] White Bear Lake
My personal notes/observations from a game of Berwald’s I was able to watch in person.
Although he was under pressure much of the night, when he had time, the junior quarterback could spin it. He has a strong arm to get the ball deep, but what stood out to me was how quickly he got the ball out to the receivers on shorter routes. The ball had zip on it, but his throws were still accurate. Because of the lack of time he had in the pocket, he could not go deep much, but under twenty yards, he was getting the ball to his receivers quickly so they could run after the catch.
[player_tooltip player_id="18138" first="Nathan" last="Eberhart"] Rochester Century
Eberhart has the arm strength to push the ball down the field. He has experience with the read option and is a capable runner out of that scheme. Eberhart is decisive with his throws. When he sees something he likes, he does not hesitate – the ball is out of his hand. Based on his 222 attempts and just eight interceptions, his decision making is a strength.
