Introducing Prep Redzone Minnesota’s Sunday Stadium Series!
After watching a very large amount of #BeTheLightMN posts on Twitter over the past few months to honor the Class of 2020, and being able to take a look at plenty of Minnesota’s football stadiums across the state because of it, thought about bringing this great idea to life. On Sundays, I’ll be working in-depth with Prep Redzone Minnesota’s twitter account where I’ll introduce one Minnesota high school football program and their football stadium each week. As we hopefully grow this idea, I’ll include another day each week until we hit every program in the state!
What We Will Do
We are now scheduling “Stadium Shoots” in which we will come to your stadium at a scheduled time and take pictures of your field, bleachers, and everything that goes along with the character your football stadium offers. Obviously, due to travel restraints, we won’t be able to accommodate every school in the state, but if you send us photos we will be more than willing to post them to the page if we can’t make it out.
What Will This Do?
This will give everyone that follows Prep Redzone Minnesota on Twitter and Prep Redzone Minnesota subscribers a chance to see football stadiums from all over our fine state from 6A to 9-man. It will hopefully encourage fans from all over the state to want to travel there for a game and it will give each high school program the pride of their school and town on display. We will make sure to tag the high school football or school’s Twitter page to give them the love they deserve with each post.
Why Are We Doing This?
Being that we are Minnesota’s #1 source for high school football, we want to connect with the entire state. This will give us the ability to see who has the coolest, the most historic, and the most creative stadiums in Minnesota high school football. This will also open our doors for our scouts, to learn about the new and up and coming football programs, and hopefully find more prospects to write about with schools we had no idea about. We also want what we to practice what we preach across the Prep Network, exposure. It doesn’t matter where you are from, we will cover you regardless of where you are from geographically, how good your football program is and so many other items that factor into the high school football
Who Can We Contact About Getting On the Site?
You can either direct message the Prep Redzone twitter account, @PrepRedzoneMN, or scout, Nate Wahl at @thebrickwahl87. You can also email Nate at nwahl34@gmail.com. When we are out at stadiums, we will make sure to follow the CDC’s policies, wearing masks if needed, and maintaining social distancing practices.
Look for the first stadium of the Stadium Series to go out next week Sunday!
