2020 Top Unsigned Commitment Announcement/Report: Ben Reppenhagen (STA/2020)

After <em>PrepRedzone </em>completed its 2020 top unsigned recruits series featuring MN preps from every position on the gridiron we’ve been keeping an eye out for news and commitments on where some of Minnesota’s best will be playing on Saturday’s, and after reaching out to <em>St. Thomas Academy’s </em>hard-hitting standout linebacker <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="10978" first="Ben" last="Reppenhagen"] </strong>a couple days ago we got some huge news. Big #25 is heading to play Division I FBS football in the Big 12 at: TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY!!! From the <em>Cadets </em>to now the Horned Frogs, <strong>Reppenhagen </strong>is making the whole state proud and will represent Minnesota on Saturday’s in the purple and white of TCU. <em>PrepRedzone </em>is absolutely psyched, and <strong>Ben </strong>was kind enough to give us a little info onto where he was looking at and why he chose TCU. Also included are #25’s career highlights as a <em>St. Thomas Academy Cadet</em> with more TCU pictures at the end that includes highlights from <strong>Reppenhagen’s </strong>three varsity seasons. [caption id="attachment_22025" align="aligncenter" width="277"] #25 is signed to the Horn Frogs![/caption] <strong>Reppenhagen </strong>told <em>PrepRedzone </em>that he "had offers from Wake Forest, San Diego, and Penn too but TCU was the best fit forsure." Interestingly, the eventual decision had to do with some old Minnesota ties as <strong>Reppenhagen </strong>said "plus Coach Kill is there and he’s a really great guy and (was the) first coach to start recruiting me years ago while at MN." He also added that he has some "great memories of being a <em>Cadet</em>!" I know we at <em>PRZ </em>are PSYCHED to watch <strong>Ben </strong>on Saturday’s, and we know he’ll keep making MN proud.
