<span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif"><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif"><strong>Devin Joyce</strong> </span><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif">is a 6'0, 215 lb. linebacker who played his prep ball at my alma mater </span><em style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif">Minneapolis Southwest High School</em><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif"> where he had a successful prep career in the Twin City subdistricts</span><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif">. The former Twin City All-Distrcit selection and team captain at <em>Southwest</em></span><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif"> went onto play junior college (JUCO) ball in Grand Rapids, Minnesota at Itasca Community College (ICC), which has one of the strongest juco traditions in the Minnesota. <strong>Joyce</strong></span><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif"> </span><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif">transitioned from <em>Southwest </em>to have a great career that wrapped up well with Itasca, and with a less traditional path taken to a college football program, I felt extremely excited and honored when agreed to be interviewed for a "Recruitment Report" for <em>Northstar Football News, </em>especially since he is a former <em>Southwest Laker</em>. I learned about <strong>Joyce</strong>, the juco football experience, ICC, and 's college recruitment thus far.</span></span>
<strong><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif">Joyce: </span></strong><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif">"I’m from Detroit Michigan, started playing football age of 9, and what i like about football is the brother hood and the commitment time and effort that’s put into the game also just keeps me on the right track in life. height 6’0 , weight 215, idk my 40 time or lifting stuff and i’ll have to get my 3.9 tackles a game 43 on the season 3 FF 1 FR. Reason for juco just better pick for me and my family and itasca felt like a good home and had a plan for me. And i like itasca a lot i wanna thank coach Jazz and Braxton for the opportunity they gave me. And not very much recruiting going on yet." </span>
