Zyon went crazy in Week 9 to secure a playoff berth with his team. Then in the first round of those playoffs the senior RB broke the school record for rushing yards! The senior is hitting his stride at the perfect time for East. Turn on the tape. Zyon makes it look easy. Vision and speed are a deadly combination and he used it to shred the opposing defense. Give this kid an inch and he is going to take it 80 yards. Defenses have to be so gap sound or Zyon has the speed and second gear to make you pay. Zyon plays like a track star. Once he seems the path he is focusing on getting to top speed quickly and maintaining it so nobody can chase him down. Playmaking, vision, and speed to burn in one package and still uncommitted. In a win and you’re in scenario, Wauwatosa East leaned heavily on their senior playmaker and Zyon White Zyon White 5'9" | 180 lbs | ATH Wauwatosa East | 2026 State WI responded with an unforgettable performance. Zyon has outstanding gifts with the ball in his hands. He was at his best attacking off tackle, stretching the defense, and then as soon as a glimpse of daylight opened the senior could stick that outside foot in the ground and go 0 to 100 in a second. I love the way he runs too. He is very fast and that is his bread and butter, but the senior has no hesitation when he needs to run hard, break arm tackles, and keep his balance for yards after contact. Carrying the ball 30 times is no easy feat. The defense knew it was coming and they couldn’t stop him. The versatile playmaker is uncommitted.

2024 Stats: 2 Punt Return TDs, 1 Kick Return TD

Zyon didn’t handle the amount of returns that others did in this list, however that didn’t stop him from scoring three times as a returner. The explosive junior averaged 27 yds per punt return and just under 36 yds per kick return. Between the two, Zyon only had 12 returns giving him a 25% return to TD rate. White does a great job of creating a plan on the fly based off what he sees during the return. He will press the hole then jump cut to the side and take off for a huge return. Plus the speed is there for him to win the race to the edge to break contain. The explosive athlete is a need to know athlete in the Class of 2026.

Rankings Jump: 43 Spots

Zyon is an exciting playmaker out of Wauwatosa East who launched himself up the rankings with his junior season. The ’26 plays RB and DB and thrives at both because of his athletic traits. You don’t have to watch his highlights very long to see that he can change a game with one carry. The defense needs to contain him because the second he gets green grass Zyon quickly hits that second gear and is gone. Same is true on special teams. Let him get outside and you are going to pay. Zyon also creates plays with his slippery, elusive running through traffic. The ’26 is so shifty and sudden that it is hard to wrap him up or land a squared up tackle on him.

Flip to the other side of the field and White is a DB that will use that speed to deliver hard tackles. Zyon also has good hands out of the backfield and roaming the secondary. I’m very excited to see him role continue to grow and watch him climb further up this list.
