is ready to help bring Hillside to the next stage in the program’s maturation in 2024. A QB with decisive throwing abilities, Zion is the type of thrower that can hit his receivers with precision as they dart across the field. Zion is a true pocket passer, as he’s excelled at stepping up in the pocket and evading the pass rush that is tearing towards him.
Though Zion may not be a major run threat, what Zion lacks with his legs he makes up for with a powerful arm. Lookout for Zion in 2024 as he winds up to heave the ball deep. With the receivers Hillside is equipped with, Zion will have plenty of opportunities to chuck it long and let his men run under it on their way to the end zone.

stands at 6’1″ and weighs 190 pounds. He has a methodical playstyle, with a standout trait being his ability to throw a pretty deep ball. His deep ball accuracy is likely underrated, which is a significant asset in modern football.
When watching Zion on tape, it’s clear that he’s often given easy throws, including screens and passes below the sticks, which limits his use of the intermediate parts of the field. Despite this, Zion has the skill set to eventually grow into a quarterback who can effectively utilize the entire field. He has great potential and displays excellent movement within the pocket, allowing him to buy time and make plays.
If I had to compare Zion’s game to another player, he reminds me of Jordan Love. Like Love, Zion can make throws from the pocket and prefers to pass rather than run, although he can run when necessary. I truly believe Zion’s best football is ahead of him. With development, particularly in making throws in tight windows and challenging defenses in the intermediate parts of the field, Zion can grow into a top prospect. His potential suggests that he will continue to make significant strides in his game.
