At cornerback, he shows legit lockdown cover skills. He is good at man-to-man covering receivers. He is also good at providing run support and making tackles in the open field. At quarterback, he is a good player who does well inside and outside the pocket. Inside the pocket, he shows good mechanics and throws the ball well. Outside the pocket he moves well and makes a ton of plays. Frye does a nice job of avoiding the rush and finding open receivers. He has the talent to play as either a defensive back or as a quarterback at the next level.
