Zebulon came focused in a very talented RB group and separated himself in all phases. He immediately stood out going against the linebackers. With his size it’s easy to assume that Zebulon is a power back, but he did a good job making defenders miss in space and ran routes affectively. Most notable was in the final minutes where he freed himself on a double move during one on ones that sealed the deal for being named MVP in front of everyone. In positional drills, he displayed great balance, explosion out of cuts and physicality to match his well put together frame.

Zeb showcases impressive skills as a running back who excels in various roles of the game. He possesses tremendous power and the ability to make defenders pay for attempting to tackle him, making him a force on the field. His exceptional vision allows him to find openings and exploit them, making him a dangerous threat in the running game. His proficiency in pass blocking adds another dimension to his game, providing valuable protection for his quarterback and demonstrating his versatility as an all-around player. His combination of skills and abilities makes him a standout player among his peers. One of my favorite plays of him this past season was watching him lay out flat to catch a pass over the middle, truly showcasing his athleticism.

Rashid is a big and physical back who hails from Kewanee. The 5’10, 190 lbs running back is a bell cow for Wethersfield HS, as Rashid possesses the ability to get the hard yards. He runs with a strong base, allowing him to glide through arm tackles. He’s a tailback who always falls forward for extra yards and is a nice asset in the pass game. He is a smooth route runner who has the speed to outrun linebackers vertically. Keep an eye on this rising star in Rashid as he heads into his senior season.

Zeb is the type of player you want getting off the bus first. He looks like a player who won’t hesitate to run you over when you first see him on tape. You continue the tape, and it is clear that Rashid is a well rounded athlete. He is a reliable recurring option who tracks the ball really well and can go and get the ball. The junior has enough lateral wiggle to get the angle on defenders and from there he easily rips through arm tackles. The junior also plays LB with a physical demeanor. Check him out.
