Speed kills and Zack brings plenty of that to the field. His highlights are fun to watch as he beats defenders to the edge or flies past them as they try to catch him with pursuit angles downfield. Zack is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He sees the field and is quick to identify how he wants to attack. That has allowed him to not only shine at RB, but also as a returner. On top of his mismatch speed, Zack also brings a surprising level of contact balance to be able to break tackles and earn yards after contact that you don’t usually see from a speed back. Johnson is just getting warmed up in his varsity career. Keep an eye on him this summer/fall.
