About Zachary

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a big, technical Offensive Lineman solid in all phases of the game. I also start at Defensive Tackle and plug my gaps well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a tough, hardworking, intelligent player with good character. I always help others when possible. I have two younger siblings and have a protection part of my personality that helps me in football. I am very consistent with my workouts, even when it may not be convenient. I am driven to attain my goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received a high academic award last school year for a high GPA. I am on the worship committee at my church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am on the worship committee at my church and love to serve others. On the field I am a leader by example of hard work, dedication, and knowing my assignment. I help others with their assignments as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My little brother has been in the hospital a lot of his life dealing with complications of being born with heart defects. He has taught me to be tough in the face of adversity. I play for him.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all opportunities at this point in my recruitment. I have toured and enjoyed an SEC campus and been to smaller Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley campuses that I have enjoyed.

Veale recently wrapped up his high school career as one of the better tackles in the state. He was as reliable as they come on the left side. He’s got a big body with long arms that help in pass pro. He understands how to set his feet and can slide left and right. I like his power in the running game and how he has the leverage advantage. He’s got the size and tools to play at the next level, so I anticipate him landing somewhere soon and boosting a room.
