You see a 6’3 220 pound quarterback and you don’t expect the mobility outside of the pocket that Waverly-South Shore quarterback Zach Ries Zach Ries 6'3" | 220 lbs | LB Waverly-South Shore | 2025 State SD has at his disposal. He also does a good job as an improviser in the pocket using his athleticism to advance the ball with his legs getting out of jams a smaller quarterback might have issues getting out of. He is a quarterback that has some raw skillsets as a pass-thrower and needs to develop his ball protection smoother. However, I do love this kid’s high upside and position flexibility at the next-level with a position fit at tight end in my eyes. Twitter
