About Zach

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical, very coachable, willing to do whatever the team needs from me in order to be successful. Love to win and hate losing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have been voted as part of the program leadership team every year I have been in high school. I enjoy the responsibilities that come with being a leader. I try to know and have a relationship with all of my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Junior house captain, Senior Community captain. American Sign Language (ASL) honor society, National Honors Society, student ambassador and on the student building advancement committee at St. James Academy.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed my ability to communicate and be personable with my peers since I've started high school. The leadership positions I hold have given me much experience in developing these qualities.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I went to public schools all the way until high school. My freshman year was my first year in the private school community and I had to develop new relationships, get to know new teachers and learn a different way of doing things.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that first and foremost, has the degree program that I will be seeking (Engineering). After that, I'm looking for a program that is interested in my skill set and helping me develop as a complete athlete and football player.
