Xavier was outstanding for the Oilers in there show down with saginaw heritage and he put the full arsenal on display in the game. Xavier absolutely obliterated the Heritage defense with his feet. He busted off a 90 yard touchdown run and also picked up multiple chunk yard plays throughout the contest. Xavier was outstanding and showed very good poise in the Oilers big week 1 victory. Xavier also showed a solid arm and made some very nice throws that helped keep the hawks defense off guard. As the season rolls on mount pleasant will need to continue to add some additional layers to there passing offense and they have the quarterback to execute this and make another run in the post season.

Everything I knew about Xavier heading into Saturday was confirmed, but I was really able to get a great look at his arm, mechanics and overall throwing motion. He tested well, as expected. Great speed, superb agility and change of direction was a staple on his film in 2025. Those traits can really compliment his developing arm! He had a few throws that were right on the money over the shoulder of the receiver. On 5 and 10 yard outs, he threw with good anticipation and the ball snapped out of his hand with a great spiral. Really happy with what I saw with the Mt. Pleasant product, and I am very excited for his development!

Xavier is an extremely intriguing prospect that I am looking forward to watching compete next month. He does a lot of damage with his feet but his arm may be an underrated part of his game. One thing I will be watching intently will be his arm strength and his ability to anticipate and rip the ball into windows and his ball placement in tight coverage.

I got to scout Xavier twice this season, and feel very confident that he will be a big-time player in 2026. A true dual-threat QB with wheels and a big arm, Xavier can hurt defenses in a variety of ways. A good portion of his highlights from 2025 show great arm strength as he pushes the ball downfield with ease. He also has great vision and thrives when rolling out and breaking contain. When he starts up field, he is incredibly hard to bring down. Xavier is a gamer with big-time upside that should draw eyes in 2026.
