Making the transfer over to the Mavs for his senior season, James looked to step into the #1 role and shine and that’s exactly what this East TN wideout has done thus far. What James has brought to the Anderson Co. offense has been speed and playmaking abilities that have been used in multiple ways. This guy is a perfect option for the slot as yes he is a tad undersized but because of his speed and quick feet, James can be a mismatch problem for bigger defenders. He is shifty in short spaces with quick feet and a strong lower base, so tacklers have a hard time bottling him up. This East TN talent can also be dangerous in the return game where his running abilities can be difficult to deal with. James is an under the radar talented young man that has definitely jumped on the scene this Fall and developed into a legitimate college recruit. Current Stats: 40 rec. for 885 yds & 5 TD’s Senior Clips
