Joining Littlebird in the Thomas backfield will be senior running back Wylie Heinsohn Wylie Heinsohn 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Thomas | 2026 OK and he’s coming off a solid junior season. You could certainly say that last year was a breakout season for Heinsohn because looking back at some of our notes, we didn’t know much about him going into the 2024 football season. Heinsohn became a solid running mate to Littlebird and took a lot of the pressure off his shoulders. Heinsohn finished the year with 128 carries for nearly 900 yards and nine touchdowns. It will be interesting to see how he does this season when you consider that Thomas lost some of their top offensive linemen to graduation. But his experience will definitely help.
