Bogdan led Laguna Beach with 113 tackles last season and added 12 for a loss, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two interceptions.

He has a wide skillset at inside backer and can make plays in space as well as rush the passer. Bogdan closes to the ball quickly and diagnoses plays well. He does a good job scraping down the line while defending the run and once he gets his hands on the ball carrier, they aren’t getting away.

Colleges have begun to notice Bogdan and he has offers from UC Davis and Portland State. He would be a steal at the FCS level and can be a FBS player.

Bogdan went over the 100 tackle marker in his junior season for Laguna Beach and has the right frame/length for the FBS level at the linebacker position. He’s a tremendous athlete that can close quickly, make plays in space and packs a punch at the point of attack when tackling. He’s a high IQ player with a quick trigger outside the tackles, shows impressive change of direction and has the ability to shock and shed off blockers while seemingly always around the ball. He has a diverse skillset when pass rushing while able to bend around the corner and explode off the edge with well-timed pressures and he is going to be a big time steal at the next level for a program.

Bogdan is one of the more athletic and long linebackers available across southern California and is a FCS+ talent in college that would fit nicely at multiple positions in college. He has a huge frame and is long levered while a smooth mover in space and shows some cover abilities while also able to scrape, thump and trigger against the run quickly. He can dip around blockers on his way to the backfield, quickly knife behind the line and is strong and powerful at the POA while a very high IQ kid that can sniff out plays and also shows pressure abilities as well. He is inline for a huge senior season and will be one of the best at his position across the region.

He has excellent lateral quickness and has the speed to keep up with running backs on routes to the flat. Bogdan has good short-area quickness as a blitzer and will lay out anybody running drag routes in front of him over the middle.
