About William

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Downhill runner with quick burst and toughness between the tackles. As the B-back in a triple option, I’m built to wear down defenses. Reliable, disciplined, and physical in short yardage and goal-line situations.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Humble, driven, and always putting the team first. I lead by example with work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to getting better every day. Focused on doing the little things right and lifting up those around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Going into high school, I received the Presidential Academic Award for outstanding academic achievement.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through weekly football leadership meetings and serving as a team captain. Competing at a high level in both football and tennis earning three varsity letters (tennis) and All-Conference honors in tennis with four state tournament appearances,has taught me the value of discipline, accountability, and supporting my teammates on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I haven’t faced any major challenges, but one area I’ve worked on is managing frustration and being more patient in high pressure situations. It’s something that stems from my competitive drive, I always want to win and perform at my best. Over time, I’ve learned to channel that energy in a more focused, positive way to help both myself and my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics and a solid athletic culture. Academics are my top priority, but being part of a competitive athletic program motivates me to excel both in the classroom and on the field. I want to be part of a community that values hard work, discipline, and team success.
