About William
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am able to anticipate the actions of my teammates and the actions of the other team, which aides me when adjusting to quarterback ball placement. My footwork is ever improving. I continuously work with work with wide receiver coaches to improve this area because I know that regardless of how fast I am, I want to catch the ball, and get up field. I take special care
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a wide receiver, and whether on the field, in the locker room or in the classroom I am a leader. I always try to take a realistic and level-headed approach when making decisions. I have been attributed by as being accurate, athletic, mentally and physically tough, and an athlete that uses a good combination of footwork and awareness.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have received recognition for my academic excellence via NHSS, volunteer at my local fitness center, and am currently working on finalizing 75 hours of volunteer service to conclude my place in National Honor Society.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
A manager makes sure things get done. A leader makes people want to do them. I not only bring an optimistic personality to my team, I bring an emotional intelligence to connect with everyone. I've also found a purpose to better fit my teammates, rather than finding how my team can fit me.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I've been diagnosed with a broken sesamoid, the very tiny bone located in the foot on the ball of my big toe. Managing this injury was a struggle at first. After months on non-compliancy, multiple steroid injections, and therapy, I learned that even for the tiniest of injuries, our bodies need time to recover. Now, after almost 6 months of recovery, I am back to 100 percent, and I am very thankful
What type of college are you looking for?
Athleticism on the field is only one half of what make up my desire to attend a division one college. The other half is my desire to practice medicine as a sports medicine physician. this is what I want to do with my life. To play football and help athletes and all types of people recover from their injuries.
