Welcome to The Logan Gabler Show: Inside Ralston Valley v East HS
Beauregard (and RV’s Kicker Landon Plichta) really caught my eye. Beauregard was the Angel’s best weapon at times in this game with 3 well hit balls to keep them within fighting distance in the first half. His punt inside the 20 could not have been placed better with a directional right punt perfectly placed with two bounces and out of bounds at the 5-yard line. All three punts were gotten away with a lot of pressure showing his poise. He showed an ability to consistently turn his punts over as well. On FGs during warmups he was hitting consistently from 45+ and was clearing the crossbar making about 4 of 5 from 55 showing great knee drive with a live operation. His only KO was a touchback that went for 68 yds. On both KOs and punts, Beauregard gets great height on his balls.
Beauregard possesses one of the strongest legs in the class, with 13 touchbacks on just 23 kickoffs. He was nearly automatic on PATs, hitting 36 of 38 (95%). His field goal range is evident drilling a long of 44 yards, but consistency will be key, as he was 2 of 6 overall on field goal attempts last season. With a refined approach and another year of development, Beauregard has breakout potential and a high ceiling among specialists in the west coast.
Beauregard only played kicker this past season, measuring in at 5’11 140-pounds. He had 23 kickoffs for 862 yards with an average of 37.5 yards per kick and 13 touchbacks. Beauregard had 42 total kicking points. 36/38 on PATs, and 2/6 on field goals with his longest being 44. He has good kick power and solid kick accuracy. He’s automatic during PATs. More consistency from field goals will boost up his stock! Excited to see how he does next season.
Beauregard is as automatic as it comes being 100% on his 6 FG attempts. He has a strong leg and can extend his range out to the mid 40s close to 50s range on his field goals. He knows how to put points on the board only missed one of his 37 PAT attempts. He will look to continue being as accurate as possible and will be looking to be one of the top kickers in the state.
