I liked Allen’s mobility within the pocket. I saw a highlight where he ducked and stepped up in the pocket to deliver a great ball. Allen’s throwing motion is tight and compact while, unlike many other quarterback tapes I watch, he throws a variety of routes on the route tree. If he is flushed, Allen scrambles with the intention to throw. He transfers his weight; however, one clip he showcased a 50-yard through while off balance. That said, I am only left to wonder what his true vertical arm strength is. In terms of things in front of him, Allen has a strong arm as he zips things through the middle and. I like Allen’s game a lot and he is a bonafide sleeper college prospect.
