Super sophomore Wesley Tew Wesley Tew 6'1" | 181 lbs | RB/LB Midway | 2028 State NC was held in check — at least by his lofty standards — in Midway’s loss to James Kenan. Tew still managed to grind out 25 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown, showing his toughness and consistency even when the big runs weren’t there.

Tew hit our radar after the Carolina Coaches’ Combine, as he put up solid numbers for a freshman running back there. He checked in at over 6’1″ and around 175 pounds, running a sub-4.8 40 and putting up an excellent 31-inch vertical. On the field, he had a bigger impact at safety as a freshman, but we think he’s a future running back and have him placed as such in our system.
