Gomes is another one of the more disruptive and active defensive tackles in Southern California and remains a bit under the radar to this point in his prep career. He has good tape and shows he can quickly reset the line, win with inside hands and is stout against the run when splitting double teams and not giving up ground inside. He flashes he can quickly go from speed to power and win with strength and a heavy strike/good leg drive through out his progression and is a high motor kid that can work flat backside and is athletic and fluid for his size. Gomes should gather plenty of D3+ interest/offers through his senior season and is a key name to note at the position heading into 2026.
