About Walter

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Giving up or quitting is not an option. I have played with broken thumbs. Pressure, I thrive under pressure. While at Nationals for Trap Shooting our team won first because I shot 100/100. While wrestling, my grit and determination will not allow me to do or give anything but 100%. I keep a cool head while the game is ramping up. I love the thrill of competition.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Trap Shooting is the club I participate in. It helps me work on being under pressure. Place first in the Nation and a Team in 2024.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am extremely competitive and thrive under pressure while keeping the team morale high and focused.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my sophomore year in varsity wrestling, I secured 4th place at the State level in the 215lbs category, despite facing illness and puking through the whole weekend. During and after each match. Feeling under the weather does not mean giving up, it means to power through and push harder.

What type of college are you looking for?

What I want to be in life is a Welder and Diesel Mechanic. I know that narrows my options, but I also know that I don't want to waste a schools money or my time if it is not a good fit with my degrees I want. The school that chooses me and has those programs will have a player that will not leave to the transfer portal.

Dahme has some truly impressive film. Explosiveness is the term that comes to mind when watching Dahme on the line. I was also very impressed with his technique, as he uses his hands effectively and is aggressive at the point of attack. Although Dahme is somewhat undersized for an interior defensive lineman, the advantages of that are evident at the high school level, where his athleticism and effort shine.
