We mentioned earlier in the preview that the Tahlequah offensive line would be one of the strengths of this team with some of the players that they bring back from last year’s squad. 2025 offensive lineman Vernon Buckner Vernon Buckner 6'6" | OL Tahlequah | 2025 OK is a perfect example of that. Buckner has the size to be a prototypical offensive lineman at the next level and it feels like only a matter of time before more schools start noticing the impact that Buckner can have on a game. The Tigers have been waiting for Buckner to put all the pieces together from his size advantage, skill set and then aggressiveness on the field. If he’s able to combine all of those things this fall, he could be a breakout star within the state’s 2025 class. And this is a class that continues to get deeper and deeper.
