How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would consider my gameplay as aggressive and tactful.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is very low key and quiet. However, don’t let that fool you because I love to compete.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned that patience is a virtue, and picking your brother up when he is down.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge was adding muscle and weight to my slinder body frame between the end of my sophomore year and the beginning of my junior year. At the end of my sophomore season (Nov 2023) I weighed 143 pounds and I got myself into the weight room one week after the season ended and dedicated myself towards improving my physical conditioning and went from 143 pounds to 175 pounds.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking to continue playing the game that I love as a student athlete at the next level, at a university that has an excellent academic reputation, so that I can be well prepared for life after football.

Overton finished his ball-hawking career with the Owls. During his senior season, he broke up eight pass attempts and recorded 47 tackles in 11 games played. West’s season ended with a Class 6A Playoff loss to rival Olathe Northwest. Overton is ranked No. 53 overall by Prep Redzone Kansas. He also recovered two fumbles in his final season with the Owls.
