One of the best long snappers in the state is off to a great start through six games. He takes the game seriously and plays for a coach that understands the importance of the long snapping position and puts emphasis on Vaughn’s technique. He has what it takes to play at the next level and excels in academics. Anyone looking for a long snapper should have Vaughn on the radar.

When I asked Coach Hicks about some of younger players he specifically mentioned his long snapper Vaughn Conlon Vaughn Conlon 6'3" | 235 lbs | LS/OL Monticello | 2026 State VA . The varsity long snapper as a sophomore is already attracting attention from colleges across the east coast with his ability to snap the pigskin. All of his snaps are nearly perfect, you should expect to see him long snapping in college. Conlon will have a bigger role on the offensive and defensive line heading into his junior campaign.

Monticello has a great core of players returning for the 2024 season, but do not overlook their long snapper Vaughn. A class of ’26 player who already shows he can play at the next level in the quality of his snaps, but he is working to improve his game even more. He displays the qualities you want as a player on your team both on and off the field.
