I liked what I saw from the senior OT when I got to really focus on his reps. The senior caught my eye on several reps where he was able to clamp onto his DL and drive them straight off the line of scrimmage. The leverage and power were able to overwhelm opponents at times. Vaughn could go from that mauling power to showing off the athleticism as he quickly closed on LBs. The senior has the footwork, power, understanding of leverage, and a frame that is still filling out. The arrow is pointing up for him.

St. Croix Central will be hosting Mauston to kick off their 2024 campaign. A campaign that is sure to see a lot of run game, with more run game, and a little bit of run game sprinkled on top of that. Teams like SCC have the ability to do that because of the talent they have and develop on the OL.
One of those impressive athletes on the OL is

. Vaughn has been consistently putting on size and will enter 2024 around the 265 lbs mark. Berger excels at getting out of his stance quickly and getting leverage with where he attacks his opponent. He has the range to attack and meet LBs at level 2. Berger also demonstrates a strong base to drive the bigger DL out of holes on the interior of the line. Look for Vaughn’s tape to have plenty of impressive reps right from the start. He is one of the top OL names to know.

Vaughn is a 2025 OL prospect who has done a great job of building his frame. You see we have him at 230 lbs, but the OL is now up to a well put together 257 lbs. The interior offensive lineman grabbed our attention with win after win in the one on ones. Vaughn flashed quick, agile feet that kept him square in front of his opponent. The incoming senior also played with the physicality you love to see along the interior. He brought the fight to his opponent in run game drills with a powerful burst out of his stance and he proved to have a reliable anchor in pass protection and would then look to finish with tenacity out of stuffing the initial rush with that anchor. Don’t sleep on this kid. He holds an offer from River Falls, so far.

Vaughn was a prospect I caught later at the UWEC OL/DL MEGA Camp that didn’t have testing numbers, but certainly showed off what he brings to the table in 1v1s. He showed off an impressive pad-level in every rep I watched out of him and the drive he showed off in his lower body with his feet showed off good upside for a college program to develop further. There was also plenty of force in his punches that I witnessed that showed off a OL prospect that on tape, shows off plenty of great leverage with his angle blocks at right guard. I would certainly keep this kid on my next-level radar if was recruiting NW Wisconsin. Twitter
