Waukon had a solid season in which they reached the second round of the 2A playoffs and saw players like freshman Tytan Weymiller Tytan Weymiller 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB/QB Waukon | 2029 IA emerge as budding stars. Tytan ended his freshman campaign with 26.5 tackles, two TFLs, two interceptions, and a blocked kick. Tytan has solid size for the safety position at 6’1″ and 170 pounds with good length to his frame. He is very shifty in coverage, showing he can quickly break on the ball and can roam his zones effectively.

Weymiller kicked of his high school career laying a strong foundation for what’s to come. As a freshman in 2025, he got his feet wet as a signal caller, completing all four of his passing attempts, and running for 49 yards in limited duty. He also caught a few passes, highlighting his versatility and athleticism. Weymiller had his greatest impact on defense, where he registered 26.5 tackles, 19 of which were solo. He also contributed a pair of tackles for loss and an interception. In viewing the clips on his Hudl page, we witness a prospect with unusual athleticism, physicality and speed for a ninth-grader. Weymiller looks natural lining up at linebacker, where he diagnoses plays well and flows effectively to the football. He’s a dual-threat behind center with a chance to develop there as well.
