About Tyler

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a DB (Defensive Back) or CB (Cornerback) in football, my gameplay style would focus on being quick, aggressive, and versatile. I’d prioritize reading the quarterback and anticipating routes, staying close to my man while maintaining awareness of the ball. I'm always looking for an opportunity to make a play, whether that's by breaking up a pass, intercepting, or sticking tight in coverage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a student-athlete, my mentality would be a mix of discipline, resilience, and time management. I’d approach both academics and athletics with a mindset of excellence, always striving to improve in both areas. I’d prioritize hard work, consistency, and maintaining a strong work ethic, knowing that success on the field requires as much mental toughness as it does physical skill.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addtion to playing varsity football, I play 7 v 7 football and I participate in track and field. As a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., I take part in various community service activites and I am also an A/B Honor Roll Student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a strong leader I can see the big picture and I inspire others to work toward a common goal. I work well with others and I understand different perspectives. I also have a lot of empaty and I care about the needs of others in my community and I approach service with compassion.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a competitive football team, ideally in a conference that challenges me to improve as well as quality of coaching, training facilities, and resources. I am also looking for a college that offers solid academic programs in areas I’m interested in.
