transfer seems to be paying off well, not only was he a part of a championship winning squad for Saint Michael’s the interest at the next level is increasing. Elon University has offered the outstanding defensive back and he is sure to obtain more before his senior season begins. Owens is a technically sound corner who will not back down from any top wideout.

at St. Michael’s, Tyler is having a great season. I covered his mid-season highlights earlier this season where I highlighted his versatility to cover deep zone and play in the box. He is going to be a key piece to their success this week, and he is becoming one of my favorite players to watch.

I really like what I am seeing out of Tyler in the first half of this season. He is a do it all safety, and his film shows it. Can play in deep zone coverage to defend the pass, showing good ball skills. He can play in the box, showing physical toughness to take on blockers against the run. He shows ability to be effective on the blitz. create pressure, and finish with a sack. Speed, explosiveness, and competitive toughness stick out on his film. You can expect Tyler to be ranked in our post-season ranking update.

wasted no time making everyone aware that he is a special talent on both sides of the ball. Playing running back offensively he had some nice runs and really held up well in his blitz protection.
Defensively is where the rising junior will play at the next level and he made some big time tackles against LCA. Including a forced fumble, Owens may be the missing piece to the Warriors defense.

Brentsville Tigers all district wide receiver and defensive back made his presence known at Forest Park, he showed why he is on the radar of many FCS schools across the east coast. Competing and winning many (if not all) of his 1v1 reps, Owens was making difficult catches and showcasing his outstanding route running ability. Numerous times I saw him get held or interfered with and it didn’t matter he was still making plays. What I enjoyed most is that it didn’t bother him he just wanted to compete, how can you not what a kid like this on your roster?
