Following the steps of a Boston College commit who just graduated, Tyler Hanson Tyler Hanson 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Westwood | 2027 State NJ is likely the next big prospect to come out of Westwood. Hanson, a safety, can make one-handed grabs look easy and does an outstanding job of eyeing the quarterback. As soon as the quarterback’s shoulders open, Hanson is out looking to make a play. Part of what makes him such a strong player is that he runs full force wherever he goes on the field, particularly when making tackles, while rallying well; I also thought that he is an aggressive tackler who actively attacks ball carriers. Using his hands well, Hanson high points the ball and is able to fight through contact as a receiver that always manages to find a way to create space when the recipient of a fade ball. His fluid back pedal is also fluid. Overall, Hanson is a very good player who, frankly, has excellent presentation of his film. I wish every player in America watched his film and realized exactly how to put tape together.
