About Tyler
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a quick and shifty slot receiver who thrives on sharp cuts and explosive bursts to create separation in tight spaces, often working underneath coverage. I am reliable target on short and intermediate routes like slants, option routes, and crossing patterns, using elite hands to secure tough catches. My excellent agility and field awareness are dangerous beyond the catch.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I describe myself as confident, with a strong work ethic. I am always ready to prove myself. I show up early, stays late, and listen to my coaches advice, earning respect through consistency and effort. I am focused, coachable, and goal-driven. I balance school, training, and personal growth.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in my local sector of Fellowship of Christian Athletes- Athletes of All-Abilities. I attended leadership camp last month for this organization.
I also volunteer at the Whispering Meadows Ranch- an equine therapy center for people with special needs.
Volunteering has become a meaningful part of my life, especially when I get to work with children and be a positive role model.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership skills by setting the tone on and off the field—leading by example through my work ethic, discipline, and positive attitude. Teamwork has become second nature, as I’ve learned to trust and support others while pushing toward a common goal. Through volunteering and community service, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for giving back to my community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Since I began playing football at age five, I’ve often been the smallest on the field—but that never stopped me from standing out. Rather than being overlooked, I’ve consistently earned recognition by working harder, staying focused, and proving myself through performance. This challenge has taught me the value of persistence, mental toughness, and showing up every day with something to prove.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that offers the perfect balance of competitive football and nationally ranked academics. Staying in Florida means staying close to my roots, my family, and the community that helped shape who I am. My goal is to attend a College of Business with a minor in finance, combining my passion for athletics with a strong academic foundation.
