While Rylan Kelsey Rylan Kelsey DB Johnson Central | 2029 State KY was using speed and long strides to pick up yards at a high clip, Running Back Ty Smith Ty Smith RB/LB Franklin County | 2029 KY was pounding the rock up the gut all weekend. Smith was one of the kids who stood out to me right away during warmups with a rocked up, muscular frame. He has an ideal Linebacker build at this point, so when he lined up in the backfield, my body already hurt for the opposing defenses that had to bring him down. In the consolation game on Sunday, I don’t think he picked up more than 5-7 yards on any given run, but he was used as the thunder to compliment the lightning of Kelsey.
