Ty put together a highlighted performance that I had our QB coaches there on the day letting me know how much he stood out on the day. A lefty QB with real nice arm mechanics and smooth footwork. The ball springs out of Ty’s hand with nice spin/zip and accuracy. With impressive arm strength for his size, he can push it vertically and has a deep ball that gets up & down smoothly. A nice overall athlete as well, Ty shows impressive pocket awareness & mobility. While also being able to extend the play, run for yards and effectively throw on the run. Ty stood out in 1v1s on the day with his timing and accuracy on his passes. His height will be a knock on him by some schools, but being a 4.4 GPA student I can see high academic D3 schools desiring Ty’s play style.
