He saw a bit of time last season, but has really taken that next step this year in terms of his production. For a program that has produced several high-level FBS prospect, he look the part.

Burklow has nice size for his age, standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 215 pounds with a strong, well-built frame. He’s a filled-out inside linebacker, but has the mobility to get out in space and cover a lot of ground quickly.

Burklow is fast, physical, plays with a non-stop motor and has high football IQ. He does an excellent job of reading defenses and then diagnosing plays early. That allows him to get a quick jump and go make a tackle. Burklow is good against the run, moves well laterally, is a strong tackler, can cover and even has some blitz upside.

Sitting in my seat right now, out of all the (presumed) Tight Ends on this list at this point, my gut tells me that Ty Burklow Ty Burklow 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB/TE Christ Presbyterian Academy | 2029 TN could very well end up becoming the top TE when all is said and done. He checks every box athletically for me. His size and frame is ideal. He runs routes faster, smoother and better than a lot of the Wide Receivers in this class. He’s a multi-sport athlete with a Dad who coaches baseball and an older brother (Bo Burklow) currently playing Tight End at Liberty University.
