Ty has made a huge leap in both production and development this season, so far. He went from 9-155-2 in 2023 to 36-467-2 in the first 5 games of 2024. Ty has proven to be so reliable as a receiver. Both before the catch and after it. The WR is blessed with balance, a low center of gravity, and next level acceleration. Those three combine to make him a sudden, smooth route runner who can create cushion from any DB he has faced this season. I was able to watch Ty live this season and in that game he was the go to man in some clutch moments. He converted long third downs and was the man his QB would find during scramble drills. Aparicio has a knack for finding the soft spots on the field and after the catch is very hard to contain. The senior has made a name for himself through 5 games, and will continue to build on this career year at Vel Phillips Memorial.

Ty was Mr. Reliable all night long. VPM found a lot of success passing all over the field, but when a key conversion needed to be made it was always Ty who stepped up and delivered. The senior WR converted multiple 3rd & longs that kept drives alive, and those drives were valuable as you can see from the final score. Aparicio is a fun athlete to watch. He is so sudden and shifty as a route runner. He opened up plenty of separation for his QB to target, and plucked the ball out of the air naturally. After the catch Ty is a slippery runner who was able to make you miss or accelerate through arm tackles before DBs could wrap him up completely. Ty is an under the radar weapon to check out in the Class of 2025.
