Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Pecha was a stalwart on both sides a of the ball for North Butler in 2025. The junior rushed 83 times for 661 yards (8.0 YPC) and eight touchdowns. He added seven catches for 122 yards. On defense, he collected 49.5 tackles, 33 of which were solo. He registered 2.0 tackles for loss and picked off a pass. Pecha is a two-time, first-team, all-district selection, once as a running back and the other time at linebacker. He’s a four-sport athlete, playing basketball and baseball, and running track. Pecha’s 11th-grade highlight video features evidence as to how he finds success between the lines. The first clip shows him smoothly navigating his way through the opposing defense for a long rush. On the second clip, he locates a gap in blockers and shoots through it to drop the running back in his tracks. It’s a physical brand of football and a high motor. I could see college coaches being divided on future position, which is a good thing. He’d be a special teams’ asset no matter where he ends up.
