Triston Davis Triston Davis 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Bessemer City | 2027 AL is a talented WR from Bessemer City who we saw a ton of big plays from this past season.
“Davis is a gritty pass catcher who isn’t afraid of doing the dirty work for his team. He’s an excellent blocker who uses his size, drive, and leverage to his advantage, consistently clearing out space for his teammates to capitalize on and make huge plays.
On top of that, Davis has a really impressive set of hands and can withstand heavy traffic to bring in some highlight reel contested catches. I’m really impressed with how he plays through contact- it seems like no one can find a way to break the ball away from him. When you combine all those traits with his size and speed, it makes him a problem for opposing defenses.”
Davis put together some really impressive tape from last fall. If you haven’t watched him before, be sure to take a look at some of his clips below:

Davis plays with an expanded catch radius and advanced body control. He makes plays outside his frame and consistently positions himself between defender and football- using leverage to keep the ball safe.
He excels during scramble situations, staying active and working back toward his quarterback to maintain structure once plays extend. That awareness separates productive receivers from dependable ones. Davis’ timing, positioning, and finish ability translate in high-leverage moments and make him one of the more QB friendly WRs in his area.

Davis routinely plays bigger than his measurements. His expanded catch radius and body control allow him to win outside his frame, particularly on contested or off-platform throws. He excels at staying alive during scramble situations, working back to the football and maintaining spacing discipline. Davis doesn’t need separation to be effective — he wins with timing, positioning, and trust, making him a reliable target in high-leverage moments.
