About Tripp

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

More of a West Coast passer with strong arm, ability to see the whole field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader that gets along with everyone and enjoys the day-to-day prep to compete at the highest level. I have strong football knowledge and love to work everyday to get better for my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA, U.S. Kids Golf Association (Spring 2023 Tulsa Tour Champion); Oklahoma Junior Golf Association

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In summer 2024, my team has worked to do tornado clean-up in our area, as our town was devastated by a tornado on May 25, 2024, and we have worked to help those that needed assistance in removing trees, limbs, re-building fences, etc.

What type of college are you looking for?

Division 1 or Division 2 school, with good facilities and coaching staff that will engage with me to improve my skills and that will improve the team, overall. Probably somewhere within 2-3 hours of Oklahoma so that my family can easily attend my games.

As of right now, Claremore has a quarterback battle with senior quarterback Tripp Jackson Tripp Jackson Tripp Jackson 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE/QB Claremore | 2025 FL and Oologah move in Brad Hoisington Brad Hoisington 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Claremore | 2025 State OK but Jackson could have a leg up. He was the backup in this offense a year ago and saw some playing time throughout the season. Jackson also checks just about every box there is from a physical standpoint at the quarterback position. He looks the part as soon as you see him. Now, he needs to look the part on the field on Friday nights. But like we mentioned earlier in the preview, we really like Claremore’s run game so whoever the quarterback ends up being, they aren’t going to have the pressure to carry this offense in 2024.
