Hilliard is exciting two-way WR/DB with a bright future for Chaparral. Measures in at 6’1 155-pounds. Hilliard has very good athletic due to very good balance, speed, good acceleration, and change of direction. He has a smooth back pedal and very good hip fluidity to match receivers breaking out of their stem. Good read and reaction time. Hilliard has very good man coverage skills and uses his speed to stay stride for stride with the wideout. Very good closing quickness. Uses his timing and instincts to create interceptions and pass deflections. Good tackling ability as well. Hilliard has the size and speed needed to excel and he’s a name to watch as we progress into the season. He has a lot of potential.
Hilliard measures in at 6’1 155-pounds. He’s showcased his athletic ability playing SS/WR/KR this past season. He has very good athletic ability due to his very good speed, balance, good change of direction, and acceleration. Good read and reaction time. Hilliard is another budding ball hawk. Watches the QB’s eyes and will jump the route to get the INT. Good ball instincts with very good ball tracking. Hilliard is also a good tackler. With more opportunities at the varsity level, I’m looking forward to seeing how Hilliard balls out and continues to grow as a player.
Hilliard balled out on the lower-level teams for Chaparral this past season. The WR/SS/KR measures in at 5’11 155-pounds. Very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, balance, good acceleration, and jumping. Good release at the line of scrimmage. Very good separation quickness. He was consistently getting open. Very good ball tracking and catching. Hilliard goes up to make the catch. He has the awareness to stay in bounds on long runs, not accidentally stepping out of the sideline. Good juke moves. As a defender, he has good read and reaction time. Hilliard is a ball hawk with his catching skills as well. I’m very excited to see how he does on the varsity level going forward.
