Trey is the type of mismatch that will quickly catch the eyes of coaches during camps this summer. He has an exceptionally long frame at 6’4″ and it is well put together at 200 lbs. Trey has quickly learned how to use that size to create separation at the catch. He can box out with body positioning or use that wingspan and soft hands to go up and high point it. The big target tracks the ball downfield well too. Trey projects as a TE at the next level based off his size and athleticism. He will be a problem for safeties, LBs, and CBs in the redzone.

Trey Peters Trey Peters 6'5" | 215 lbs | WR/TE Mahomet-Seymour | 2025 State IL was dominant as a junior for Mahomet-Seymour in 2023. Peters is often game-planned to be the single wide receiver on the backside of the trips formation. This allows him to isolate the boundary cornerback and utilize his size, creating a mismatch situation. Peters is becoming a more polished route runner as a wide receiver, making him even more of a weapon as an X receiver.
